Information You Provide
- Onboarding preferences: country, age range, gender, and brand selections
- Claim information: full name, email address, phone number, mailing address
- Proof of purchase descriptions submitted with claims
Automatically Collected Information
- A randomly generated device identifier (not linked to your device hardware)
- Push notification tokens (if you opt in)
- App version and platform (iOS/Android)
- Subscription status via RevenueCat (anonymized)
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or browsing history
- We do not use device advertising identifiers
- We do not require account creation or passwords
2. How We Use Your Information
- To match you with relevant settlements based on your country and brand preferences
- To file claims on your behalf with the information you provide
- To send push notifications about new settlements and approaching deadlines (opt-in only)
- To manage your subscription through RevenueCat
- To improve the App and our services
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Settlement administrators — when you file a claim, the information you provide is submitted to the relevant settlement administrator
- RevenueCat — for subscription management (anonymized customer ID only)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — for push notification delivery (device token only)
- Law enforcement — if required by law or to protect our rights
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your onboarding preferences are stored locally on your device. Claim data is stored on our servers for processing and tracking purposes.
5. Data Retention
- Onboarding preferences: stored locally on your device until you uninstall the App
- Claim data: retained for up to 3 years after the settlement claim period closes
- Push notification tokens: retained while active; removed when invalidated
- Subscription data: managed by RevenueCat per their retention policies
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings
- Withdraw consent for data processing

7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
8. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store (payments)
9. International Data Transfers
If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of information to the United States.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
